Gaeng Massamun (Massamun Curry)

แกงมัสมั่น Massamun Curry has Indian influence from Southern Thailand where there are many Indian bases just as it is on the Malaysian border. Cardamom pods, star anise and cinnamon sticks are added to the curry giving it the distinctive Massamun curry aroma. A mild, flavourful curry cooked with chunks of potatoes, carrots, and onions. Highly recommended with Lamb shank or Beef as the deep flavours of this curry pair beautifully with those meat options. Massamun may have 20% chilli content in the curry paste, so it is mild to medium flavoured curry. Recommended with Lambshank and Roti
